Richard Elliott (see video above)  principal organist at the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, will perform at St John’s Cathedral, 127 E. 12th Ave., on Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. as part of the church’s Second Sunday Concert Series. Tickets are available from TicketsWest, 800-325-7328. Adults, $10. Students and Seniors, $5.

Elliott, a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists (FAGO), studied at Peabody Conservatory and Catholic University, earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Eastman in Rochester, New York.
